The Rust n Dust Jalopy dirt track race is an old-school American-style racing event, taking participants and visitors back to the first years after the Second World War. The event takes place each year at Teterow‘s Bergring Germany, where races have been held since 1930 on its unique 1.8 km grass race track with inclines of up to 16%.
The Rust n Dust Jalopy dirt track race is a combination hill-climb/dirt-track race for American vehicles built before 1959 that is one-of-a-kind in all of Germany.
In addition to the actual race track at the Bergring, there‘s also a test dirt track in the paddock which provides for plenty of splashing mud and smoking tires. Hairdressers and sellers on-site offer authentic outfits and everything else you need for an authentic 1950s-style rock ‘n‘ roll, hot-roddin‘ look.
Once you arrive at Rust n Dust Jalopy, you‘re treated to an all-American sensory experience of gasoline, hot dogs and rock ‘n‘ roll blaring from the car speakers.
And people also keep the party going all night, staying right in the cars. This is your chance to go back in time for a weekend to the 1950s and experience the American dream of riding the open roads jamming to good old rock ‘n‘ roll. The Rust n Dust Jalopy dirt track race take place every july at Bergring in Teterow Germany.
